Has anyone used this app? Its a service that you pay $20 a month, and you can stream lossless quality audio. the app appears accessible for a lot of stuff, but I cant figure out how to favorite a track. This is one thing I really wanna keep, and am on a 7 day trial now. If I double tap on the favored butten, nothing happens. it does the sound like you double tap, but if I go to my menu then to my music, it doesn't show the tracks I favorited. If I look at an album and favorit that, it actually says selected or not selected, and there are lost of hints to help VO users use this. I thought about writing the company, but wouldn't know how to draft a letter or what to put in this. I'm very new at iOS, but found this by far is the streaming app I'd like to use if at all possible. best sound I've heard from my iPhone yet, as it streams lossless 16-bit 44100 HZ audio. excellent.
Learn if your sighted help can make it go.
Remember I explained that streaming quality has much to do with your internet speed and such.
A company can't possibly say that everyone will get this quality audio, because they have no way to know what your speed or connection quality is.
Just some information.
If your sighted person can make it play, it works, so you just need to try other things.
To select, you normally tap once on something, then find the play button.
Sometimes things play after a tap as well.
By default it is set to high quality lossless. you have high mp3 320 and normal which is less quality if you want to stream that way. If it really wasn't gonna work, I woulda had buffer issues.
I understand about settings.
If you have a fast connection, it works fine. If not, you won't get that quality.
But never mind that. Here is something else.
Sometimes you just tap twice with one finger instead of placing one on the screen and tapping with another.
Don't ask me why this is, I can't say, but I find if I touch something twice with a finger quickly, it works.
Not always, but sometimes.
That's what I tried. double tapping with one finger. if I double tap the favorit next to the album I'm listening too it says selected, so that works no problem. but if I double tap on the one next to the track in the track menu, nothing happens. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some VO command that I don't know about. its possible that I don't know all the commands that can be tried.
You have 90 days tech support, so can have someone go with you to the Apple store and have them show you, if the app is accessible.
I also forgot to say. All apps are not accessible or blind friendly.
I've learned that. the hard way... lol
Yeah. Smile.
I wrote support of Tidal to see if anything might be done. they said they'd let the devs know so we'll have to see what happens. I hope it gets fixed.
I’ll also give the music service Tidal a nod.
It is totally accessible online using Chrome, or on your iPhone, or iPad.
The only problem I’ve had with it, is if you wish to make a service request. Some of that doesn’t seem to be accessible, and I can’t understand why.
Good service.
Did you get your problem fixed JH now that you've had more experience with the iPhone?
I have no problems with it so far.
lol, which problem was that?
and glad you like it wayne!
You talk about it at the top of this.
If you've forgotten, you have learned. Smile.
smile, guesss I have then. lol
